This year’s edition confirmed that there is still opportunity for growth for the local e-commerce market and that Black Friday is an increasingly relevant event for consumers. The 22% increase in the number of transactions registered in the latest edition of Black Friday disclose that more and more consumers see this event as an opportunity to shop online, and the trend is the diversity of purchased products. Romanians buy online from all product categories. If in the past years the “star” categories were IT&C or fashion, now we see a wider range in purchased products, from coffee or perfumes&beauty to medical services, tour packages and even fuel.
