BT Pay

Pay with BT Pay works similarly to a digital wallet that lets users make online purchases from their mobiles, without entering card details. Payment is initiated by selecting ‘Pay with BT Pay’ on PayU’s payment wall or merchant checkout page and completed in the BT Pay mobile app.

This new payment method in Romania is offered by Banca Transilvania, the leading issuer and acquirer in the Romanian market, and significantly simplifies the online payment experience.​

• The solution works for both card payments and installment card payments​.

• The payment process takes place in the BT app.

• Payment takes just seconds using any card saved in BT Pay digital wallet. Clients don’t need to enter card details, as they’re already stored in the banking app.

• The user can authenticate by PIN, faceID or fingerprint.

• It is a secure payment method with minimal risk of fraud.
